Her expansive works include nearly one hundred\u00a0<em>retablos<\/em>, dozens of\u00a0<em>bultos<\/em>, a series of large-scale\u00a0<em>reredos<\/em>, and altar pieces for a series of historic church restoration projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To bring the saints and their blessing into homes everywhere, Clare Cresap Villa has created \u201clos santos de la gente\u201d (saints for the people). These reproductions of Villa\u2019s original retablos are mounted on hand-crafted wood and tin backings.
